Welcome to King's Church

Savoring God's Truth

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Prov. 1:7)

Singing God's Praise

Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises! (Psalm 47:6)

Serving God's World

But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, (Mark 10:43-45)
King’s Church is a family. We are brothers and sisters of the King of kings, living in fellowship with Him and with each other. We cherish His Word as our life, we commend His reign to the world, and from that fullness we cheerfully serve others in His name, gladly under His loving authority.
During His earthly ministry, as well as in His present reign over the nations, Jesus Himself fulfilled the role of shepherd in caring for, correcting, and encouraging all who would come to Him (John 10:11 & 14). The apostles Paul and Peter both exhorted the leaders of the early church to “shepherd the flock of God” with great care and with glad cheer (Acts 20:28 & 1 Pet. 5:2). We aim to follow them in these paths of righteousness, both as leaders and as a body.
The God of glory and of all comfort is out to win the world. And, paradoxically, He's chosen to do it through inglorious people who are also often in need of the very comfort which they are called to minister to others. And along the way He transforms us from one degree of glory into another, more radiant, more winsome degree of glory. It takes a lifetime, and is not comfortable, but the apostle Paul said (and we believe him) that the glory we'll behold will far surpass all of the trouble it took to get there.
